A Lumini Interiors client asked us to design a contemporary open‑plan living and dining space for their home in one of London’s most desirable suburbs creating a layout that feels calm, elevated, and welcoming for everyday living and entertaining.
The living area is styled with sculptural, cloud‑soft modular seating in a light neutral fabric, layered over a textured rug to add warmth and comfort underfoot. A statement fireplace with a sleek black surround and integrated log storage anchors the room, while soft pendant lighting and ceiling detailing bring a refined, architectural finish.
In the dining zone, upholstered dining chairs and minimalist pendant lights create a clean, modern setting for hosting, balanced by warm wood flooring and curated art. Built‑in arched shelving adds both storage and display space, bringing depth and personality through layered styling and tonal décor.
The result is a bright, modern open‑plan interior that blends comfort, function, and contemporary elegance designed around the client’s lifestyle and the way they want to use the space.
